This module is designed to develop the participants’ storytelling techniques to ‘sell’ to their audience. The context here is more on public speaking and during the course, participants will learn how to face their fears by breaking down exactly what it is about speaking in public that scares them.

This module is designed to develop the participants’ storytelling techniques to ‘sell’ to their audience. The context here is more on public speaking and during the course, participants will learn how to face their fears by breaking down exactly what it is about speaking in public that scares them.

Delegates will also have the opportunity to tackle each fear and how to overcome it. They will also explore calming techniques to help them be the most effective speakers they can be.

Participants will also learn how to adapt their language to best fit their audience, the differences between writing and speaking, how to be aware of their voice, and how to control and project their voice.

At the end of this module, participants will have honed their storytelling techniques to effectively engage and ‘sell’ to their audience during public speaking. They will face and conquer their fears related to speaking, learning practical strategies to overcome anxiety and utilise calming techniques for effective delivery. Additionally, delegates will gain insights into body language control, audience awareness, and the nuances between writing and speaking. They will develop skills to adapt their language for different audiences and master vocal awareness, projection, and control. By the module’s conclusion, participants will feel confident in crafting compelling stories that resonate with their listeners, ultimately enhancing their public speaking effectiveness.
