“Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Malta Golden Sands sits on one of the island's last remaining wide natural sandy bays, a rare, unhurried stretch of coastline where professionals arrive as colleagues and leave as teams. For organisations that understand that culture is shaped not just in boardrooms but in the moments between sessions, Golden Sands offers something genuinely rare: a beachfront sanctuary designed for both sharp thinking and genuine restoration.
With a 9.4 out of 10 rating across more than 9,000 reviews and ranked number one in Mellieħa, the property is not simply well-reviewed, it is consistently trusted. Multiple pools, a full-service spa, diverse dining options, and purpose-built meeting spaces mean that every element of a corporate programme is handled under one roof, without compromise.
For HR leaders shaping the future of work, the environment in which you bring your people together is itself a message. A secluded coastal resort signals investment in wellbeing, in recovery, and in the human beings who drive performance.
Whether you are planning a leadership retreat, a reward incentive, or a team programme that demands both rigour and energy, Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Malta Golden Sands delivers the conditions for your people to reconnect — with purpose, with each other, and with themselves.

“For us at iCan, customer experience isn't a buzzword or a single interaction – it is the foundation of everything we do. Whether we are managing a large-scale conference, a corporate event, or a complex technical production, our focus is always on creating seamless, memorable experiences for both our clients and their attendees.
What truly sets iCan apart is how we listen. We make it a priority to understand your vision from day one. Exceptional experiences aren’t accidental; they are built through genuine collaboration, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive attitude toward problem-solving. Because every organisation has different goals, we tailor every single project – ensuring your event is uniquely yours.
Our team combines smart technical expertise with a customer-first mindset. From initial planning and logistics to audio-visual production and on-site support, we handle the heavy lifting behind the scenes. This allows you to focus entirely on engaging your audience and achieving your objectives, confident that the details are covered.
At the heart of our approach is a simple belief: a successful event must leave a lasting impression. By anticipating needs before they arise, adapting quickly to live challenges, and listening to feedback, we work hard to exceed expectations at every stage. For iCan, customer experience is a commitment to delivering moments that inspire, connect, and create real value long after the curtains close.”
Serving more than 10 million passengers each year while delivering one of the airport's most ambitious expansion programmes to date, Malta International Airport understands that customer experience cannot exist as a standalone strategy. It must be embedded in the way an organisation thinks and plans for the future.
This philosophy is underpinned by values such as integrity, teamwork and service excellence, which shape not only how employees are trained, but also how they are encouraged to approach every interaction with passengers. More importantly, employees are recognised as active contributors to the airport's customer experience strategy. Their frontline knowledge offers a perspective that no dashboard or performance metric can fully capture.
Through regular focus groups, journey-mapping exercises and continuous training, employees help identify pain points, challenge assumptions and uncover opportunities to improve the passenger journey. Their insights feed directly into decision-making, and many of the practical improvements implemented across the airport have originated from ideas raised by the people who experience its daily operations first-hand.
This approach reflects a broader leadership philosophy, that the customer experience is strongest when those closest to the customer have a meaningful voice in shaping it. Empowering employees to share their expertise, challenge existing practices and contribute to solutions creates a culture where continuous improvement becomes part of everyday decision-making.
In that environment, customer experience is no longer viewed as the responsibility of one team, but a shared commitment across the entire organisation.
Dakar Software Systems is a leading Maltese provider of HR and people-management solutions, with more than 30 years of experience helping organisations manage their people more effectively. Our approach strongly aligns with the theme of HR GIG 11 – “Culture in Motion: Aligning People & CX for One Experience”, particularly through the belief that strong employee experiences and effective people management are fundamental to delivering better customer experiences.
Our relationship with customers goes beyond implementing software or providing technical support. We take the time to understand each customer's organisation, challenges and strategic objectives. This enables our teams to act as partners rather than simply service providers, ensuring that the solutions and support we deliver are relevant to each customer's individual needs. By combining technology, expertise and human resources, we aim to improve both operational efficiency and the overall customer experience.
Dakar’s integrated HR portfolio, covering areas such as payroll, recruitment, training, performance management, absence management, employee portals and reporting, demonstrates how HR technology can connect employee needs with organisational objectives. By helping organisations create more efficient and connected employee experiences, we ultimately help them build stronger organisations and improve the experience they provide to their customers.
For us, employee experience and customer experience go hand in hand. When our people are supported, knowledgeable, engaged and empowered to understand and respond to customer needs, they are better equipped to build strong relationships and deliver a meaningful, high-quality service.
For generations, Benna has been a trusted companion in Maltese homes, bringing families together around fresh, wholesome dairy products that are proudly produced on the Maltese Islands. More than a brand, Benna is a symbol of local heritage, quality and community, deeply woven into the everyday lives of Maltese consumers.
Produced by Malta Dairy Products Ltd., Benna is made using fresh cow’s milk collected daily from over 76 farmers across Malta and Gozo. Benna milk is simply pasteurised to preserve its natural freshness, taste and nutritional goodness, ensuring consumers enjoy dairy products that are as close to nature as possible.
Since the launch of the Benna brand in 1988, it has evolved into one of the country's most recognised and loved brands, while remaining true to its purpose: delivering wholesome, high-quality dairy products made from locally sourced milk. In fact, the name "Benna" originates from the Maltese word "bnin", reflecting the brand's commitment to wholesome nutrition and great taste.
Today, Benna offers a wide range of fresh dairy products enjoyed by families across the islands. As a farmer-owned cooperative brand, every purchase supports local dairy farmers, helping sustain an industry that has been part of Malta's social and agricultural fabric for generations.
Proudly local, genuinely fresh and trusted by generations, Benna continues to nourish the Maltese community with the goodness of fresh local milk – today and for years to come.
HRGIG 8 energy is a great conference with a fresh perspective. My panel participation was a great opportunity to share my experience at how employee experience translates to customer experience and that employees give us the bottom line. Moreover I shared some insights on how data points are important and that to be true HR business partners, HR professionals need to think like CEOs. It was a good opportunity to connect and share insights with other professionals across roles and industry. Well done team
I highly enjoyed the participating in this well attended conference and our panel discussion which brought up some interesting leadership insights. Well done to the team involved in the process.
HR GIG provides a unique platform to HR Professionals and all those who recognise the importance of people in their organisations. It brings a community of like minded individuals together to push forward the people agenda. It was a pleasure to be a panelist at one of the Gigs.
HRGIG is a great place to network and also discuss people challenges and organisational trends. Meeting fellow leaders and lots of HR practitioners helps me both from a professional development perspective and also because it gives time to look at organisational challenges and compare notes.
We had the privilege of collaborating with HR GIG and exhibiting at the "Redefining Leadership" conference, which was a remarkable event. The conference provided a platform for inspiring speakers and insightful discussions providing a wonderful opportunity to exchange ideas with industry leaders. It was a fantastic experience, and I look forward to future collaborations with HR GIG.
