Introduction

Different management members would typically have different educational backgrounds and experiences. This topic aligns all the management team on critical factors related to managing their strategies and business plans.


Indicative Content:

Business strategy; positioning the organisation in relation to company’s vision, values and culture. This module looks at all external factors affecting Business Strategy. These include the general environment (using models such as the PESTLE analysis) and all external stakeholders including the public, customers, unions and authorities. The extent to which all these factors affect a business strategy will be discussed and analysed in relation to the client’s actual scenarios and business environment.

Business Plans; This module covers elements of a business plan and models that can be applied in practice. The content and templates of a typical business plan will be discussed alongside tools that aid management on how to arrive at building scenarios, strategies and concepts including sales and marketing plans, operation plans as well as financial planning.

At the end of this workshop, delegates will leave with a comprehensive understanding of key factors influencing business strategy and plans. They will be equipped to position their organisation effectively in alignment with its vision, values, and culture. Participants will gain insights into analysing external factors and stakeholders using tools like PESTLE analysis, enhancing their strategic decision-making abilities. Additionally, they will acquire practical knowledge in developing robust business plans, including templates and strategies for sales, marketing, operations, and financial planning, empowering them to implement these concepts within their respective roles.
